What is MathArt?
God has made the world a very mathematical
place. Now you can see some of the beauty of mathematics by looking at
some of these images made from equations.
MathArt images are simple 3-variable
computations. The color of a pixel is determined by the x screen coordinate
and the y screen coordinate. Therefore, Color = f(x,y).
The following equations have been
calculated. Can you predict what they will look like? More are available
on the CD!
Math10: color = color + 5*sin(x+y)
Math11: color = 11400000*cos(x)*sin(y)
Math15: color = sqrt(hcos(x))*5*y
Math17: color = cos(y)*sin(x+y)*15
Math18: color = sin(x)/(cos(y)+cos(x))/sin(y)
Math19: color = (20*(sin(x)/(cos(y)+cos(x))/sin(y)))^2

Archambault and Zach Kieser
